| About Us |
Our NameThe name Rick's Café Boatyard is one that has evolved from the Rick's Café Americain Restaraunt. Rick is Rick Albrecht, the owner and founder. The word café invokes images of a casual, friendly, open area for friends and loved ones to gather for a fine meal or cocktail. The usage of 'boatyard' is due to our waterfront location and the fact that our location has over 100 boat slips. Rick’s Café Boatyard opened in November of 2002. It is the anchor for the new vibrant riverfront development. It sits on the historic Lewis and Clark Landing. It’s nautical theme fits in nicely with the City Marina and the plan of Omaha’s river walk. LocationsRick’s Café Boatyard has two locations Indianapolis, Indiana and Omaha, Nebraska. Both locations strive on water sites to enhance the nautical theme. There are other Rick’s in the making so watch for the Boatyard to come to a neighborhood near you. Coastal FlareRick’s Café Boatyard provides USDA Prime Steaks, but also mixes in coastal flare with fresh seafood. As one of few seafood restaurants in the Midwest Rick’s brings fresh ocean fish to Omaha almost daily. Rick’s Café Boatyard…Fresh Jazz, Live Seafood. |
